I'm gnawing at my own arm and you're gonna drop fang on me?

Vampires in the eyes of most people are viewed as unholy and evil. There are some people, like Sookie and her Gran, that see vampires as just another one of God's creatures and accept them into their lives. Despite their crave from human blood, most vampires try to coexist with humans by drinking TrueBlood, a synthetic blood made by the Japanese that dulls vampires thirst and keeps them healthy.
The show has many vampire characters, but the two most dominant are Bill Compton and Eric Northman. Eric owns a bar called Fangtasia where humans and vampires meet to party and have sex. Humans that have sex with vampires are referred to as "Fang Bangers" by those who do not approve. Eric does not drink TrueBlood and views humans as a food source, nothing more. His intentions are almost always selfish and he does things to benefit himself and his progeny, Pam. Bill on the other hand, has a great moral compass and often makes good decisions. Bill is madly in love with Sookie and constantly tries to keep her safe, especially since she's always in trouble. The parallel between both characters show that vampires can be good, as well as bad. Eric also grows as a character and begins to make decisions based on what may benefit others, not just himself.
Although there are many deaths at the hands of vampires in the show, there is also a lot of deaths by humans. Many times we see a human kill a vampire, which is exactly what most humans fight against. How does this not make humans as bad as vampires ? As I said on the home page, the show often shows the difference between right or wrong. Its up to people, vampires or humans to make that choice. Of course, people will fear vampires. They suck your blood! But the relationship between Bill and Sookie show that these relationships can work if each party makes the right choices.
